Hamer Slammer Serial Number Dating
It also does not include specially ordered very limited production instruments that were not generally available.. I have one Korean Standard that's said being produced in 2002 and the serial number starts with a 2.. g Standard #0722 was completed in May 1984); in total about 750 instruments were numbered using these four digit numbers.. Join Date: Oct 2002 Also, by that time the Korean models just said 'Hamer' while the USA models said 'Hamer USA' Before that they used to say something like 'Hamer EX, or Slammer, or Hamer Slammer' if they were imported.. These numbers are printed using ink or paint (black on most but yellow on black and dark coloured instruments). 1
Therefore the list is not exhaustive The dates are also approximate and several models do not appear in catalogues.. Any body know what years these are from and if there was a difference in production? (where made, neck size, quality) Thanks! There seem to be a difference on the labeling of the guitars.. The younger models are labeled 'Hamer' with 'XT-Series' underneath the Hamer logo.. The Sunbursts were numbered using a different system: the first digit represents the year of production and the following four (or later five digit number) is the total number of guitars made by Hamer and numbered using this system.. S A Over the past twenty-two years Obviously Hamer also makes many one-of-a-kind custom instruments and the hardware and style of 'production' instruments may be different on Special Order instruments. https://amazing-franklin-f54730.netlify.app/Muat-Turun-Al-Quran-Fatih-Seferagic-Ayat-Suci-Cinta-Es
Thanks for the response Frank The serial # is stamped into the wood and Similarly # 8 21416 was made in 1988 and was the 21416th guitar to be numbered.. Visit the following Pages I have tried to check out any old posts on this topic, but can anyone tell me the the difference (if any)between the Korean Standard necks and the USA Standard necks? Also, my two Korean Standards have the Serial Number (starting 08) on the back of the Headstock parallel to the tuning keys, but I'm looking at another Koeran one that has the Serial Number (starting 15) on the back, but at the bottom Headstock. ae05505a44 Click
I case you have the simple Hamer logo printed on the headstock of your guitars and assumed a similar serial numbering system applies to the Korean made as it applies to the USA made then yours are from 2000 and 2001.. Korean Standards made in years around 2000 up to at least 2002 are labeled 'Hamer' on the headstock.. Late in 1987 the serial numbers were stamped into the wood rather than printed Just to complicate matters many one-of-a-kind and prototype instruments have numbers that do not relate to either of the above systems.
